My idea is a somewhat large one, and it’s… sort of hard to explain. There’s different ideas in here, and many small ones that show different features. If you like bits and pieces, but not the whole thing that’s fine… just tell me what ya like and what you don’t. If you don’t like any of it, that’s fine also. I know this proposal is quite a large one and would change Enger quite a some, mainly from a lion RPG to one of more fantasy… but I really like this idea and like how original it is. And with that in mind, I think if you like it too, it’s worth changing Enger a bit to make it work.
A major idea centers around how the “politics” of the roleplay that will be set up. There will be three main gods. The Deity associated with intellectual pursuits, order and ‘Light’, Acux. The Deity associated with war, power and ‘Dark’, Baisu. The Deity associated with peace, prosperity and ‘Neutral’ acts, Enger. These three deities will be ‘Patron Gods’ [Think of the relationship the Greek goddess Athena has with Athens and Sparta. She was protector and watched over the cities.] of the three main ‘empires’ or ‘realms’. I think we should name these empires something more then ‘Dark’, ‘Light’, and ‘Neutral’, but… yah. All prides will fall into allegiance with one of the three main empires . The Leads of these prides will each be part of the council in that empire. The council consist of the ruler of all the empire, the pride leaders of smaller territories within the empire, and the God of the Empire. An example could be…
Baisu is the Patron Deity of the Dark Realm Nikita is the Queen of the Dark Realm Bob is a Lord of the Dark Realm
The order of power is:
Patron Deity of the Empire There power is absolute, and in war time they are often looked to. They have unreal abilities and never seem to die. They hold the knowledge of the Empire and are considered of highest ranks. They are rarely overturned and what they say is law. They outrank all, and choose the heir to the throne. They are the Second Head of the Council
King & Queen of the Empire Very close in amount of power as the Deity, but the Deity can overturn orders the Queen and King makes though Deities often do not meddle in the Empires affairs, so long as the Empire stays true to their Deity’s way. It is not unheard of for the King/Queen to try to murder a God, but it often turns out poorly. The King outranks the Queen. The King may have any female he desires in the Empire. The Queen has great influence among men and women. She may have any man as well, so long as her husband doesn‘t mind or knows of it. If the Queen wishes to kill the king or overturn him [or vice versa] they go to the Patron Deity for the blessing to do so. The King is the First Head of the Council, the female is excluded unless blessing is given by the Patron Deity to be in the Council.
Lord of ___ Territory Always males. Females are usually never Lords. And, if they happen to be, by some freak of way, then the title does not change, they are called Lord, still. A Lord is a “member” of the King and Queen’s pride. Only Lords, heirs, Ladys in waiting, those of royal blood or the rank of Lord are in the King and Queen’s ‘immediate’ pride. But the King and Queen has power over every pride within their realm. The same was the Patron Deity as power over ever pride within their realm. Lords are members of the Council.
and then there is the order of the Lords’ pride. they aren't worth much note. They are footsoliders, members, wives, ect.
The board setup won't change too much. The set up is as fallows but I'd like if we could maybe change the names to orginal names. I have some territories I worked on for a horse RPG that pretty much closed before beginning that may work...
Erusol Derus The coliseum of old, old times. Crumbled and wasting it towers in the middle of such barren landscape. Sticking out quite easily it is a renown area among all. This place is where heroes are born… and also where they tend to die. Hazardous is this area… made of stone, would and strips of iron. One enters this enclosure through a twisted, half-fallen wrought iron gate. Managing through that one comes to walk into a slightly sandy arena. Within such is, where the earth is baked and still solid, ditched and dumps. The ground is not even and is littered with wooden debris and crumbling rock. All in all this landmark is falling apart, earthquakes and weather each doing their part… but until this area is completely torn down there is little to stop it from being the, in common tongue, Battle Grounds.
Issera Nerra A vast and nearly endless plain. When one arrives one notes that there is little greenery and often then not overhead looms dangerous storm clouds. Blocking out light this area is often gloomy and dark. The earth battered and torn by numerous hoof prints the area becomes muddied and nasty whenever it rains. And… it does rain often. Despite that few things grow, and all one can look forward to is filthy puddles and burned, dead grass. As well as the occasional rock and twisted tree. These lands are definitely not hospitable, and over the years that hasn’t changed. Bad things are done here… with men roaming around in search of the newest carcass to haul to their lands. Little women, be wary when your path enters this domain… for these are the claiming yards and it isn’t a place one should stay long in.
Fogena Sles The thicket grates at one’s hide. It’s sharp thorns digging into and leaving marks on any and all. Those who are large and bulky, those of the masculine variety, have the hardest trouble and little hpe of getting through. And… that my friend is by no mistake. Rumor is, is that this area is blessed, jinxed, curses, however you desire to say it. It is magical, and has surprisingly protective properties for the young mothers who come here and brave the onslaught of the dead, twisted trees and prickly bushes. When, or if, one can find a break amongst the dead, thorny mess one comes to find this area perfectly suitable for foaling. Of course getting in there is one long story, and getting out is another. Now, for the mother this may be painful… but, believe it or not foals often have little trouble exiting the thicket unscratched… Small enough, are the dears, to pass unblemished.
Ginlan Zidee This is, hands down, the more hospitable area among the barren expanse known as ‘no man’s land’, or, the roaming areas. This place has… a more at ease essence, much more relaxing and calming though it hides a more sinister edge in it’s shadows. Bad stories are told about mares who wander here unaccompanied… Bad stories are also told about stallions unable to protect their maiden from unruly, vicious, others. White and Black Spirits seem to come here now and again. Distant glimmers seen amongst the fireflies that seem to be always present as dusk comes and falls away into night. The air is always chill and crisp, and the lighting always seems dim. This place can be in one’s memory as a place where sweet nothings were whispered and delicate kisses were bestowed. Or where one remembers a night of cruelty and men ever hungry and lonely… for these are the breeding area and it has been well used in various acts.
Dlohek Sytin Those ever vain seem to flock to this area. And those who are vain tend to be quite beautiful, don’t you think? This land is often overcome by gorgeous bodies and brilliant looks. Beautiful people in a beautiful area? Well, truth be known this place is as ‘beautiful’ as the rest, [translation being that it is hardly beautiful] and those who are wise don’t come here within due reason. Like the claiming lands are full of men looking to pack off a damsel for dirty deeds, this place has it’s fair share of boys trying to snag a pretty thing for their own pleasure. The main feature of this area is the glossy pool, shrouded by trees and moss and twisted things… and broken statues of angels and pixies and other magical beasts. The pool is as good as any mirror, and is seen as quite a fine area for meeting others of different class, breed, and stature.
Remmahs Oht The more thunderous stretch of land among the others. Lightening arcs across the sky and thunder booms so long one can feel it shake the earth… this place is dangerous enough but, surprisingly there are few recorded lightening strikes. Then again considering that if you are struck by lightening the survival rate is impeccably low… This place is on the outer limits, the far southwest. Farther southwest one goes, the more perilous the passage there. Remmahs Oht, despite common thought, is not the name of this desolate. hilly expanse. Contrary it is what one calls the out grouping of massive boulders and rocks, more or less, sort of, at the ‘center’ of the explored portions of the terrain. The rock structures are easily seen among the plainness of the land, and have come to be a commonly used meeting place for many a creatures, equine or otherwise.
Words need to be changed since it was made for horses, but, yah! =D And here is the layout of the boards/category of the forums with the finishing of my idea. For the territories I'd also like to ask that we may be allowed some fantasy in architecture and areas, not too outlandish but just... If you ever played Shadow of the Colossus or Ico then, sorta like that architecture! =3 Look it up if you can and see some of the art. In Shadow of the Colossus you’ll probably see more of the enemies you fight [the colossus] but maybe you’ll get some setting shots, THEY ARE SO PRETTY! I love them so much! And in Ico I think you’ll see more of the areas. =D
Book of Necessity - Chapter of Rules - Chapter of Changes - Chapter of Fables
Book of Leisure - Planet Mars - Gas Giant Saturn - Chilly Neptune - Ex-planet Mars - Living Earth - Vacation to Uranus.
Book of Creation - Chapter of Beginnings - Chapter of Needs - Chapter of Depth
Lands of Purpose [perhaps merge with Lands of No Law] - Claiming Collision - Entwine - Bloody Knuckles - Pass on
Lands of No Law - Grassy Plains - Shady Tree - Dawn Deadline - Lake of Lilies
Lands of the ___ Empire [something other then ‘Light’, pwease] - Home of the King & Queen --- perhaps some subbords - Temple of the Deity --- perhaps some subbords - Beloved Falls | Lord Lands --- perhaps some subbords - Heartened Passage | Lord Lands --- perhaps some subbords - Lovely Depth | Lord Lands -- perhaps some subbords
Lands of ___ Empire [otherr then ‘neutral’] - Home of the King & Queen --- perhaps some subbords - Temple of the Deity --- perhaps some subbords - Mellow Marsh | Lord Lands --- perhaps some subbords - Caren Coast | Lord Lands --- perhaps some subbords - Opposite Cliff | Lord Lands --- perhaps some subbords
Lands of the ___ Empire [other then dark] - Home of the King & Queen --- perhaps some subbords - Temple of the Deity --- perhaps some subbords - Hopeless Plain | Lord Lands --- perhaps some subbords - Bloody Cross | Lord Lands --- perhaps some subbords - Hated Loam | Lord Lands --- perhaps some subbords
Another idea is to allow the lions… to not only be lions but anthro, but I don’t mean what often comes to peoples mind as anthro. There is a fabulous artist who does AWESOME werewolf [she makes them so beautiful, its amazing and breath taking, really] pictures who also does some lion and feline ones. GoldenWolfen.com Go to “Artwork” and choose “Anthro” and look at the 11th, 13th, 16th, and 17th image [and any others you want to, they are beautiful!] Those are examples of a possible "second form" for the lions. They are tribal and they look accurate. Just… lion ‘werewolves’. It could be another form for the lions and I think it’d be awesome to have. They wouldn’t wait clothes… xD For the most part sort of Tarzan sort of thing. Guys would wear but flaps and strips… for he most part the lions would be tribal and such… But yah! That’s a different idea and its more fantasy but I think it would be cool… though I may not be explaining it correctly or clearly to show off its coolio-ness. =D
All in all! That is the baseline for my idea. From there I think us three [Yes! Ghosty and Vox too!] can work on the culture and ideas and the thought process of the lions [and maybe anthro lions!? DUDE THAT WOULD BE SO COOL! I mean it’s hard to explain but just imagine it! So awesome… just… so awesome. It’s like Feral Werewolves but not werewolves, lions! And lions can change whenever they want and there are no guns and technology yet. Stones and arrows and such but for the most part ’primitive’ things!] and their world! I'm really excited about it, though maybe I haven't explained it well. If you have questions please ask! I will GLADLY answer!

Very cool. I can totally see that. Werelions or Wereleos or Werelins, whatever. Plus, Eloquence could be some sort of...Knave xD. She's not evil, but it would be interesting to have her play a 'Loki' - ish character. I can't wait to see Baisu in action, I've heard so much of him from the Azure posts.

=D So we are all agreed? We’ll give lions two forms, [The form of a lion and the form of an anthro] the structure will be as spoken [Deity, King/Queen, Lords] and… do we desire the lands to change, as spoken, too? I was working on a different type of layout [it'd be very similar to a website lay, with everything to the side, a big opening, ect.] but... I'm ditching it. Things look horrible of current and I can't stand it looking horrible. xD And! -is just as curious about Eloquence- Far as Baisu, he's as close to an insane character I have gotten in ages. ;3 And he's a true to the bone violent creature too! Which is a switch. O.o My characters I am to be violent, often don't end up so. xD
adds We also agree to give fantasy elements and “human” [though maybe with the lions being able to go anthro, perhaps they built them?] structures? Auditions will be held for Deities Acux and Enger, as well as Queen [Or King] of the Light and Dark realms and we will need to decide the names for the Light, Dark, and Neutral Realms as well as our stats for the lion anthros, limitations, pros, cons, ect. And! There will need to be ton of writing being done and re-writing, too. Especially in the rules. =P -pokepokeVoxandGhosteh- You twos wants to help? x3 Dun have to if you don’t want to… and there will be many writing projects to choose from! We’ll need settings and an advertisement, especially. The rules will need to be revised and I am ashamed of my job on the stories of Acux, Enger, and Baisu so I’ll redo those… and other fables wouldn’t hurt to be added if either of you like to write short stories and want to [you can write a story about the sun and the moon, a Romeo and Juliet, a story of one of an event between a God and a Hero, oh! You could make stories about heroes, too! And if you want you could create other gods and deities and magicals?] and the application will need to be redone and stuff will need to be added to ‘Facts’, concerning the anthros. Will need to discuss the anthros in general. And… lets see… anything else? =D

Lets see... what do we think of this information? Specailly so since I'm horrible at weights. X.x And that I am going to school in a few minutes and I can't get all info down?
Males - Average height 6 foot 9 - Rather obvious, shaggy mane-manes. - Average weight about 300 pounds?
Females - Average height 6 foot 1 - No mane or hair atop the head. - Average weight about 200 pounds?
Techonology - No guns, bazookas, machine guns... - No swords, iron weapons - Bows and arrows, spears, daggers and needles made of bone. - Do not build houses, monuments, buildings, ect. - Uses the Ruins scattered about the earth occasionally for grand purposes. - Wear strips of clothing [?] - Eats raw meat and on occasion, vegetables - Are hunters, not farmers. Some are shepherds. - Tattoos are fine, beads [?] too.
Deities - Three main deities, Acux, Enger, Baisu - Deities are pretty much immortal. --- They don't really age. --- They can bleed, be harmed, BUT they can survive what most cannot. Impalement, severing of limbs, beatings, ect.. BUT! lost limbs do not grow back, and wounds may heal but not completely. --- The only way a Deity can die is by an instrument crafted - given by another deity ----- The death of the three main deities is said to bring chaos and strife to the world. If Acux dies order and society will crumble. If Enger dies all that lives will shrivel and become dead and ruined. If Baisu dead the world will no longer be. - There are other deities [Goddess of the Hunt, God of the Dawn, ect.] that we may add later. - The deities may do 'anything' they wish. - They have unreal powers. --- The ability to walk on water, create illusions, make tress grow die, ect. --- Each Deity has a number of common abilities and then speacilized ones. The "High" Deities [the three main] are the most powerful deities. --- There are rules that common with these powers. And abilities may be canceled by another Deity. --- They cannot read minds or do any "mind control".

No M-16s? -gasp- Nuuuuh! Haha, kidding. I like what you've done. And I've already posted my idea about The Trickster. Maybe, we could take some ideas from real mythology (talk about an oxy-moron! Real mythology, I ask you!?) and make them our own.

Glad you like! The heigths and weights are for their anthro forms, mind ya [sure ya knew but, just so its clear] and then the normal lion weights and such for their quad form. xD Lol, real mythology... mhmm, suppose we could. =D Borrow it from numerous cultures and turn it a bit and mix it with oru own imagination? Sounds good!

Now I look over it again, I think we should make them a little heavier in anthro form. A seven-foot tall basketball player weighs 250+ lbs. So if they were 9 feet, it would have to be at least 350-500 lbs. And normal lions are 600-700 lbs, males at least. And they're not nearly 9 feet long, if they were to stand up. Maybe 6 foot or 7 for big ones.
But those a minor details, and I'm beginning to nit-pick. I love the idea of spears and bows and arrows. Maybe if they're going to be anthros, we could research African tribal rituals/tattoos/clothing and the like. As they're in Africa, we could do something like that. Same with the fables/stories. I can look up traditional African stories and adapt them. But I do feel that we shouldn't lose the wonderful originality of the plot, so we should come up with our own stories too.
It's funny, but I get the same feeling from this as I do from Black & White. It's a computer game I used to play a lot last year. Same idea of anthros, gods, deities and the like.

I meant to make them a bit taller then what they would be if they just stood up. [was in the shower and saw the heigth of the shower and liked them being that much taller then me xD] and I'll change the weight [I'm not good at it at all]. =D
African tribal rituals/tattoos/clothing and the rest sounds... O.o Awesome, really awesome! Perhaps we could mix African culture with ours and such... and perhaps we can add IC events? Times of celeberation and such where all get together?
xP I played Black & White, it was awesome even if it spazzed on my computer a lot. Now that ya mention it... it is very similar to it. X.x

Oh wait. O.o -notices something- 9 feet | I said 6 foot 9. xP Normal lions are 600-700 lbs | One source I have says they rarely exceed 500 another says reaching up 600.
So... what should their weight be? Should it change still? I'm doing the facts page. xP

Really? I did a report on lions that said males could be up to 700. Maybe it meant another species? Or possibly when they are full of food, or when in captivity? It doesn't really matter.
