Kishkir Corner a cat and you'll get scratched She came here. Always. Many thoughts plagued her mind. She was usually at peace internally. Her mind and heart working as one. She missed him so. Her beloved. Her Because. Her heart was telling her to seek him out. To find him. But her mind was telling her to have patience. To be patience. He had said, that he would always come for her. If that was truley so...then where was he to be now? These thoughts imploded in her head as the soft brown undersides of her paws carefully caressed the sacred steps of the holy temple. The smell of soft smoke from the ever burning fires that lit her way erroded her nose and invaded her blackened nostrils. Her eyes, the lovely color of bright gold were half way closed from the thoughts in her head. As she reached the top of the steps she carefully walked down the long hallway and went to enter into one of the very holy rooms to pray. She truley hoped that her voice would reach him. She needed him to be here with her. She needed him. "My love." Her voice came soft and delacate like the wilting petal of a flower. But as soft as a summer rose. "I miss you like the sun misses the flower. I only say this because we see not each other! The lands and our Prides keep us apart. Truley it is like you have died. I have not seen you in many moons." She said quietly bowing her head.

Because Lay me in my C O F F I N and burry me A L I V E Life had never been the easiest option to choose. You had to fight for things and stake your claim on things. You had to be strong, not only for yourself but others. You had to protect what was yours if you wanted them safe and sometimes… you weren’t strong enough. In life things were not fair and you had to be able to take a blow, and hold your anger. Life was not the easiest choice but the most grand. To say on that resume at the ending of time that you passed Life, oh was there anything better? And yet life was becoming harder. Things weren’t so simple and he was feeling quite… perky. He was feeling rather odd and he was feeling this heavy, heavy sensation. His heart was in his stomach and those acids were burning it to pieces. His feet were heavy, his concentration split. It was evident he was a bit off, evident to others and they took advantage to it. Clear were the newly added cuts and bruises, the marks of warfare between two warring titans for once patch a land. For you see that was what he was doing. He was making his family, his pride. He would make it great, large, big enough and once everything was perfect she would come and live with him and everything would be… The male stumbled a touch, feet shuffling over a root above the ground he nearly took a head dive into the dirt. Not that he didn’t try to play it off, coughing a touch and shifting his way as his trek continued. Through the thick jungle he went. The meat tied to the rope he carried over his shoulder, flopping. Four or so wild hogs, three or so fowl, and an assortment of fish the prize on the rope, his gifts both to enter Seinavu land [they weren’t partial to anyone coming in uninvited, or… without gifts] and to his darling. Though he was sure she didn’t need it he felt inclined. He should provide for his wife, he should care for her. Even if he was so ever far away for ever so much of the time… Even if he could only visit now and again… Even if… I miss her. A constant nagging thought, that bit into his soul and tore pieces away. He missed her dearly, missed her ever so.
He had entered the borders and paid his dues and as he came nearer and nearer to the temple he paid his dues more frequently, until finally the man came across the clearing. The place where the greenery broke and revealed the settlement of Eknad Laitselec. He knew the odd glances of others as they walked about well. Unsurprised was he, though they still remained somewhat apprehensive of the Etisian who frequented the place so. Not that it deterred him as the scent of fresh killings wandered about the scene, as he kept his pace even and strong. Indifferent to looks, eyes, and expressions he continued. Knowing where to go, expecting where to find her. He entered the Holy Temple, and moved about the corridors as someone would if they had walked them all their lives. Or as someone who had memorized the way to go, the turns to take, and who had thought of the steps that would bring him all the closer daily. The scent of new meat coming into the Holiest of Places was intoxicating now, as he found this room of rooms and walked ever quietly. Setting the meat at the doorway where he had pause, rounded ears, tattered, listening to her words ever quiet and lovely. Her voice charming, alluring, a smile snaking it’s way onto his black lips he smiled like a fox, his forearms on the doorframe he stood within it. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say someone had missed me.” His voice called out, masculine and humorous. Charming it was, and sweetened, teasing though distinct was the tone. Loving and amused, glad to be here. Glad to be here with her. He waited impatiently for her to rise, for her to come, for her to dance over for an embrace long desired by both. He resisted, for he knew the penalties. He may walk the halls but not enter the scared rooms. Only those of The Belief, could, only those who were of the Alliance and of Enger’s Teachings. Where there is love, distance doesn't matter.

What was keeping her here? She knew. The Pride was her family and she could not betray them untill she entered into a conevant with another. Her love. Because. Would her God keep them apart? No, she was very sure that her god and Because's would smile on them both. A union of two different Prides was...not turned away. Strong alliances could be made this way. She would have to speak with her lady cheif first...or well...Because would. The strong scent of insence burned in her nose. When would she see him again?
Her head was kept bowed only in a sign of respect. She so wanted to be submissive to her god. The one that ruled over all. A sigh escaped her lips. She had groomed before entering this very holy place. She still strongly smelled of wild Honey Suckle and Iris. Her pupils dialated....what was that smell....fresh killed meat? Perhaps it was the priests coming to pay homige to the great God. She was about ready to lower her head in furvant prayer when the smell hit her...his smell. Was he here? Then his voice came: “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say someone had missed me.” Her eyes widened and she turned, while still on her knees. Her eyes caught sight of him. In one brilliant movement she was off of her knees, across the room, and flinging her arms around his neck. She nuzzled him, rubbing her scent all over him. "I missed you terribly!" She said. Tears filled her eyes. They had been separated for so long, every time they were seperated it was like half of her was dead. She purred into his ear.

The ever celestial bodies were quite an odd trinity. An atypical threesome who shared a loathing for themselves and for others they were relentless in their pursuit to rid the world of one of the two others… and find a way the world could possibly survive with one of the three, or two of the three, banished. But he supposed despite the fact that the brothers were ever heavenly that they held a sliver or mortality about them. Either that or dearest Enger had made his darling pets too much in his, and his kins’, liking. It seemed the Gods were susceptible to hate, to loathing, to wrath… Seemed the Gods held, or the Mortals held emotions ever similar, give or take… Humorous it was, but somewhat humbling all the same. Best watch one’s self with these heavenly folk, one could never tell with such faerie tendencies about them, a good reason it was best to be humble and respectful, all the while keeping a broad layer of wit about one whenever in their presence. He knew that awfully well, you see, and was still quite perplexed on how to get his dearly to his homelands. But he knew for one he would need to be a mighty man, with much to offer, if he any sort of hope for his request to even be considered. It wouldn’t do for the darling to upset her God, nor he to upset his. And with that in mind they would have to work things out proper like, this he knew, this he dreaded. “Aww, I’m sorry darling.” he cooed, a smile on his lips, a glitter in his eyes as he wrapped his arms around her contently and pressed her closer to him. An embrace long desired finally captured, he offered a little laugh. Kissing her neck as she purred into his ear, he pulled back only to view her, though he still had her in his arms, “I can stay only for a few days… but… what shall we do darling, till then?” A smile, ever charming though crooked was on his mug. Mischievous his name, devious his calling.
